Hotel Puerta America Madrid has to be the most stylish contemporary hotel around. Each floor is designed by a world renowned designers, artists and architects like Norman Foster, John Pawson and Marc Newson. Hotel Puerta America Madrid is so uber cool and style driven that I wonder if it is actually a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. I do love the fact that even the underground parking area has been meticulously designed!
A couple of years ago I spent a fantastic 12 months in Australia, working in Sydney & Melbourne and frequenting many of the hip bars. We lived really near Kings Street Wharf in Sydney for 6 months and made Bungalow 8 & The Loft our local. Sydney bars felt chic, stylish and cosmopolitan. Melbourne bars on the other hand, felt quite edgy, cool and underground. Here are some snapshots of these great bar interiors:

Condesa DF is a boutique designer hotel in Mexico. It boasts large & luxurious suites, a cinema, dance hall, boudoir, breakfast room, culture room, terrace, restaurant & bar. I love the cool contemporary colour schemes, modern designer items of furniture and the splashes of retro chic patterns.
